The hollow grounds on the blade create pockets of air between the blade and food, preventing slices from sticking to the knife making for cleaner and efficient slices. Like all knives in Wusthof’s Classic series, this knife comes precision forged from a single piece of precisely tempered, high-carbon, stain-resistant steel.
