The unique grain of olive wood carries our Savoyard knife by the Mediterranean.

One advantage: the pencil box makes a beautiful gift by offering the knife and Alpine sheath in wooden case closed by a plexiglass cover. It offers an excellent cutting quality. The safety ring allows the user to work without any risks.

Features :

• Blade length : 8.5cm
• Stainless steel : We use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC
• Handle : The mythical tree of the Mediterranean ! This hard wood has a yellow to orange appearance and has a dense and often tortuous veining. Soft to the touch it has a nice polish.
• Safety ring : Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).

Equip d’une lame en acier Inox de 8,5 cm, il promet une coupe parfaite et un entretien facile. Le manche en olivier d’origine france est dure, rsistant et offre une prise agrable. Sa bague de scurit Virobloc est disponible pour bloquer la lame quand celle-ci est soit en position ouverte, soit ferme.

• Acier inoxydable : L’acier inoxydable 12C27 modifi de Sandvik mis au point pour Opinel est rput pour son tranchant et sa facilit d’entretien. L’acier inoxydable capable de subir le traitement thermique qui lui donne sa bonne duret est appel martensitique. Il a une teneur en carbone au moins gale 0,40% ce qui permet d’obtenir un tranchant trs satisfaisant sans tre sensible la corrosion.Duret de la lame 57-58 HRC.
• Manche : L’Olivier est l’arbre mythique de la Mditerrane. Le bois d’olivier est agrable au toucher et a un beau poli. D’un aspect jaune dor orang il prsente un veinage souvent dense et sinueux.
• Bague de scurit : Invente en 1955 par Marcel Opinel, la bague de scurit Virobloc quipe tous les couteaux fermants partir du N06. Dcoup dans de l’acier inoxydable, le Virobloc est constitu de deux parties : une partie fixe et une partie coulissante. En plus du blocage de la lame en position ouverte (scurit d’utilisation), il est dsormais possible de verrouiller la lame en position ferme (scurit de transport).
