Designed byAnna Castelli Ferrieri, this collection won the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award. This award is given to Italiandesignersfor excellence in industrial design. Born August 6, 1918 in Milan, Italy, Ferrieri became known for her work in architecture and furniture design. After her recent passing in 2006, her company Kartell still remains one of the leading design influences for modern home decor.
