A standard Kutaniyaki “Shozo”!
The inside of the cup is covered with gold leaf.
When applying the gold leaf, we are gentle and touch the foil as few times as possible to prevent the foil from cracking.
“Kutani Shozo” incorporates all the techniques from Ko-Kutani (old Kutani) , and is characterized by a delicate and sumptuous style, flower, bird, wind, and moon designs, and a blend of Japanese and Western styles.
It is a perfect match for gold leaf and is a classic Kutani ware design, making it a great collectible or gift.
